Lowndes Studio, established in 1994, specialise in creating bespoke hand-crafted picture plaques. Our plaques are found on paintings in private collections, galleries, museums, and companies across the world..

Keeping with tradition, heritage and originality, our plaques are hand-made from wood, gilded with 22ct gold leaf and prepared for scribing. The calligraphy is undertaken by hand in black ink, either with pen or brush. A variety of text styles are available.

We hold a stock of standard size plaques with D-ends or square-ends.
